The Mzinti River, a tributary of the Komati, flows through the reserve. There are a number of game species present. The birdlife I abundant and as many as 164 species have been recorded on weekend visits. Location: Far eastern part of Mpumalanga; south-east of Nelspruit. Access: From Nelspruit take the N4 eastwards towards Komatipoort. Outside Malelane take the Jeppe' Reef turnoff; continue for 12 km to the Tonga road. Turn let and continue for 15 km. Turn right to Mzinti; the reserve entrance is within 3 km on the right. Accommodation: An exclusive tented camp with 4 2-bed tents, watch with its own bathroom, central kitchen/lapa; self-catering.
